Author Guidelines for Multidisciplinary Journal of European University of Bangladesh (MJEUB)

MJEUB has begun its online journey from April 2023. The journal invites original manuscripts to be published for the greatness of humanity.

1.    Guideline for Authors:

For each manuscript, one corresponding letter will be contacted from the journal authority. The authors must include the following information:

1. Name

2. Email

3.  Affiliations

4.  Postal address

Authors must submit manuscripts after carefully considering the following checklists:

1. Manuscript consists of an abstract, keywords, all tables, all figures, references in APA style and necessary headings. Segments such as titles, description and footnotes should be elaborated precisely. The word/latex version of the manuscript is recommended. Articles must have been written in English.

2.  A statement why authors think their manuscript is well suited with this journal.

3. Similarity index can’t be higher than 15%. Authors must check the similarity index before submitting through Turnitin.

4.  The use of slang, references to the dominant culture, bias, stereotypes, and/or cultural assumptions should all be avoided by authors. We advise attempting to be gender neutral by using plural nouns ("clinicians, patients/clients") as a default and avoiding the use of "he, she," or "he/she" whenever possible. We advise against using adjectives that refer to a person's age, gender, race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, or physical condition unless they are valid and pertinent.

5.  Authors must include their individual contributions in the submitted manuscript.

MJEUB follows rigorous peer reviewing. Each paper will be reviewed by at least two experts from the concern field. All the manuscripts will be submitted from MJEUB website. Sending a manuscript through Email will not be considered for reviewing process. Generating manuscript using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Quillbot is strongly prohibited.

2. Structure of the Manuscript:

The following sections represent the standard format of MJEUB. But for research purposes, the sections might be altered. For original research work, the following sections must be included in the manuscript. Authors have the right to use other sections and subsections also.

Abstract: It is necessary to have a succinct, factual abstract. The research's objective, key findings, and main conclusions should all be briefly stated in the abstract. It must be able to stand alone since an abstract is frequently offered apart from the article. Due to this, references should be avoided; but, if necessary, they should be cited along with the author(s) and year (s). Moreover, non-standard or rare acronyms should be avoided; nevertheless, if they are necessary, they must be defined at the beginning of the abstract itself.

Keywords: Immediately after the abstract, list no more than six keywords in American spelling that do not include any generic or plural phrases or multiple concepts (avoid using words like "and" or "of"). Use acronyms sparingly; only those that are well-known in the industry may be acceptable. These terms will be indexed using these keywords.

Literature Survey/Review: Detailed literature survey or review must be made before submitting the manuscript. Authors must find the necessary research gap in this section.

Methodologies: Authors must provide a detailed description of the methodologies for conducting their research and review papers. Use tables and figures as per the requirement of the manuscript. Dataset can be also elaborated here (can be also in individual sections). Necessary algorithms should be elaborated here.

Result Analysis: For the case of original research paper, authors must show enough evidence how their research will make contributions to humanity. Review papers might not need a result analysis section.

Conclusion and Future Work: The conclusion part of the paper must be briefed in this section. How this research will contribute in the future should also be discussed in this section.

Please do consider the following things for the improvement of the manuscript:

-  Tables should be sent as editable text, not as images. Tables can be positioned towards the end of the article on a different page or right next to the pertinent text. Tables should be numbered consecutively according to where they occur in the text, and any table notes should be positioned below the table content. Use tables sparingly, and make sure the information they include does not repeat findings that have already been covered in the article. In table cells, kindly refrain from applying vertical rules and shading. Authors should give a proper caption for the table.
